Its been a long year for the short happenings in my life.
Its been a long year since I blogged rigorously and continuously.
Its been a long year since I explored myself in terms of action/work which I do everyday for my living.
Its been a long year where I actually experienced the act of thievery which I so far read in newspaper as a cool one.
Its been a long year to accomplish my dreams due to God's grace in short time.
Its been a long year to end my 2013 year with God's grace.
At last,
Its been a long year to end 2013 being single ;)
Here a roundup of 2013 of me:

Human Brain Analysis - Man vs. Woman
Posted by
Arumugam S
at
7/03/2012 06:24:00 PM
1. MULTI-TASKING
Women - Multiple process
Womens brains designed to concentrate multiple task at a time.
Women can Watch a TV and Talk over phone and cook.
Men - Single Process
Mens brains designed to concentrate only one work at a time. Men can not watch TV and talk over the phone at the same time. they stop the TV while Talking. They can either watch TV or talk over the phone or cook.
2. LANGUAGE
Women can easily learn many languages. But can not find solutions to problems. Men can not easily learn languages, they can easily solve problems. That's why in average a 3 years old girl has three times higher vocabulary than a 3 yeard old boy.
3. ANALYTICAL SKILLS
Mens brains has a lot of space for handling the analytical process. They can analyze and find the solution for a process and design a map of a building easily. But If a complex map is viewed by women, they can not understand it. Women can not understand the details of a map easily, For them it is just a dump of lines on a paper.
4. CAR DRIVING.
While driving a car, mans analytical spaces are used in his brain. He can drive a car fastly. If he sees an object at long distance, immediately his brain classifies the object (bus or van or car) direction and speed of the object and he drives accordingly. Where woman take a long time to recognize the object direction/ speed. Mans single process mind stops the audio in the car (if any), then concentrates only on driving.
5. LYING
When men lie to women face to face, they get caught easily. Womans super natural brain observes facial expression 70%, body language 20% and words coming from the mouth 10%. Mens brain does not have this. Women easily lie to men face to face.
So guys, do not lie face to face.
6. PROBLEMS SOLVING
If a man have a lot of problems, his brain clearly classifies the problems and puts them in individual rooms in the brain and then finds the solution one by one. You can see many guys looking at the sky for a long time. If a woman has a lot of problems, her brain can not classify the problems. she wants some one to hear that. After telling everything to a person she goes happily to bed. She does not worry about the problems being solved or not.
7. WHAT THEY WANT
Men want status, success, solutions, big process, etc... But Women want relationship, friends, family, etc...
8. UNHAPPINESS
If women are unhappy with their relations, they can not concentrate on their work. If men are unhappy with their work, they can not concentrate on the relations.
9. SPEECH
Women use indirect language in speech. But Men use direct language.
10. HANDLING EMOTION
Women talk a lot without thinking. Men act a lot without thinking.

Saba'S 24th Birthday

I know guys, it’s not a timely post in reference to the subject of context but I always loved and liked to write about this event. This is the first time, we are celebrating the birthday party by cutting the cake which we considered at times as not a big issue, dude am saying about the birthday not about cake ;)
It’s a time for our lovely friend Saba a.k.a Sabhaapathey S V stepping into his f**king 24th year, a youngest charm in our circle [Okay Stop smiling Saba, come to business ;) ]. Yes of course, he will get a intro in this post, btw a good intro though.
About Saba
You don’t need some 500 friends in your Facebook account,
You don’t need some 400 friends in Google plus,
You don’t need some 300 followers in Twitter,
You don’t need some 200 friends in Orkut, even 150 are spammers though, okay never mind.
You don’t need some 100 friends to share you thought and being happy, but you will definitely regret if you don’t have him as your friend at some part of your life.
He is predictable. Yes I am serious; you can predict him easily because he is not such a complex than Quadratic formula.
Here
a = admirer
b = Boldness irrespective whom he is speaking to or dealing with
c = courtesy
Just make a calculation out of it and get a result, you have Saba in your result #Peace.
I think this much of note is enough for him or else I need to refer Google for it. ;)
12 – February – 2012
As mentioned before, we don’t have much interest to celebrate our birthday. Why that? if you dare to ask the reason, you are dead, we start blabbering, starting from why not a single like for my FB status than the dumb ass do to why India leading to the destruction without being a single cause to the construction though.
We have a friend who lives a life like a kingmaker – EMI Karthick a.k.a paal pannai. He is a romantic guy with so much experience in err, okay good at relationship (Hope you got it ;))
We went to Saba’s house @ annanagar with our terror Ashokraj [ A guy still finding the way to open a facebook account yet] and given a pleasant shock to him. His face charged up and glows as 100 watt bulb even though it was a mandatory power cut time in his house.
The cake was with limited flavor but the happiness in his face was unlimited and his mother, father and brother joins the party too.
We have clicked few pictures at this event. Captions are most welcome, will update it if it finds funny.

HOW YOU CAN GET AN IDEA FOR YOUR MOVIE?

Many movie goers and movie lovers always have a desire to develop a good story. These talents can be easily achieved, in a meanwhile many could have easily given up too.
In Facebook, I came across this wonderful article and had a thought to share it here.
This Article is originally created in : https://www.facebook.com/Clipoon
HOW YOU CAN GET AN IDEA FOR YOUR MOVIE?
The first thing as film screen writer, you are looking for is a really good "hook" idea for a movie. That memorable one-liner that everyone will tell their friends the next day after seeing your movie.
Get paper and a pencil. Here are some ways to find hooks.
Keep a journal.
Most writers keep journals of their thoughts and ideas. Over time you will develop a rich storehouse of ideas that you can go back to again and again.
Practice.
You may not have exercised your "idea muscle" for years. The more you try to come up with ideas the more ideas you will come up with.
Write down the first thing that comes into your mind.
Do it right now. Then keep writing. Give it at least five minutes, and write something. Most people give up much too quickly ... or never get started.
The daily newspaper.
There are at least five good ideas in every single daily issue of any big city newspaper.
Read obituaries.
Newspapers try to include the occasional obituary of people who weren't famous but lived amazing or at least interesting lives.
Look at cartoons.
I think the New Yorker is especially good. Their cartoons often have a delicious blend of irony, naivety and sophistication that can spark new ideas.
Listen to your family.
Those funny and embarrassing old family stories might start you on your way to a funny family comedy.
Listen to your friends.
One person's problems, issues, solutions and triumphs are interesting to all people.
Go for a walk.
You might see something funny or ironic, along the way and just the act of getting out of the house may open your eyes to new things.
Take a shower.
Relaxing in the shower or a bath is a great way to open the channels to your subconscious.
Turn off your inner critic.
Your goal is to come up with lots of ideas and most of them won't be very good but if you start trying to sort out the good from the bad at this point you'll block all new ideas.
Find a time and place.
If you set aside a time and place for writing your subconscious will start to automatically go into creative mode. You have the power to control some part of your time. Take the phone off the hook. Get up earlier. Stay up later. Explain to your children and spouse that you need some time to yourself. Stop doing something that isn't really important.
Turn off the television. You do not need to see the latest installment of whatever is your favorite TV show at the moment. Most people have been brainwashed into being compulsive consumers of entertainment. Time to shift gears into being a creator of entertainment.
Write words.
Any words. The next word that pops into your head ... write it down. Keep doing it for a while then stop and look for patterns and themes.
Read the classics. Project Gutenberg has 17,000 literary works that are generally out of copyright and free to use. How many time has Romeo and Juliet been rewritten into a new book or movie? If you can't come up with an original idea, copy an old idea. It's done all the time.
Watch an old movie.
You may not be able to get permission to remake the entire film, but ideas aren't protected. You can incorporate a few plot devices, concepts, character types and many other things from other works into yours. Just do it in an original way.
List the ten most important events in your life.
What changed you? What made you the person you are? Pick the most interesting one.
Remember someone you hurt.
Maybe you did it on purpose or maybe it was accidental. Put yourself in their shoes. What would you have done.
Think about someone you hate.
This should be the most despicable human being you have ever run against. Make up a story of how they got to be that way.
Write what you know.
Your world may seem pretty dull to you but it may seem very exotic to the rest of the world, especially if you can find offbeat characters and situations.

How to configure VNC in Linux
Posted by
Arumugam S
at

VNC is platform-independent – a VNC viewer on one operating system may connect to a VNC server on the same or any other operating system. There are clients and servers for many GUI-based operating systems and for Java. Multiple clients may connect to a VNC server at the same time. Popular uses for this technology include remote technical support and accessing files on one's work computer from one's home computer, or vice versa.
1) Install vnc packages
a) vnc-server
b) vnc
2) vi /etc/sysconfig/vncservers
add the new user
VNCSERVERS="1:sri" -----> here 1 is your port number i.e 5901
VNCSERVERARGS[1]="-geometry 1024x768 -depth 16"
3) set the password
---- type the command vncpasswd enter the password
4) If you want normal desktop then edit the file
vi ~/.vnc/startup
-----> uncomment first two lines for noraml desktop
5) Start the vnc server
vncserver :1
6) For stopping you can /sbin/service vncserver stop (or) vncserver -kill :1
7) To connect from your own computer use the vncviewer command
vncviewer localhost:5901
8) For remote connections
i) Change and allow the users to connect to the server
Preferences--> Remote desktop preferences
ii) open system--->Administration---> security level and firewal in other ports section add the port number
iii) Add the following line in /etc/sysconfig/iptables before the last line
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 5901
iV) service iptables save
v) service iptables restart
9) start the vnc server from remote location
10) ip:port number (192.168.64.128:5901)
Enjoy Vncing....

7aam Arivu : Yet another very
good attempt in Tamil cinema, but missed out the pace of the screenplay and can
be categorized into documentary genre.
This is my first experience to
watch any movie at a time of around 1:30 A.M First day First Show premiere in a
theater. I was thrilled and excited. Why I have to? It could be a regular flick
having a usual ingredients but the ingredients’
are more scientific influential.
Why this film is much hyped? How will the movie would be? How Surya is performed? Will the much hyped movie get all along success? With so many question I entered into theater and came out with a answer of Big ‘NO’. The movie was not up to the grade mark of either surya’s or a.r.murugadoss previous film especially in screenplay department. This movie doesn’t worth for a 1:30 A.M First day First show ShowTime rather its worth enough to spend a time in leisure manner to recollect the pages of Indian history on world perspective. The movie can be watchable only once.

7aam Arivu is a Tamil
science-fiction movie which documented the biography of the person called Bodhidharman
who is a pallava king goes to China from Kanchipuram, India and becomes as a Buddhist Monk,
helping the people in China with his extra-ordinary skills.
This movie is about genetic
engineering to bring back the ability and capability of our ancestors to our
DNA using Genetic memory research. The research scientist role is played by
Shruti Haasan who don’t need a introduction who she is. We can see
Kamalhaasan’s face through her in many scenes. She is pretty enough though.
May be the film can be a successful one if the promotions of the film may restricted to the threshold limit which may be considerably reduce the hype to the nominal effect.
The first 20 minutes of the film is
caught in the frame as a documentary mode for the life history of Bodhidharman
and also it’s a new attempt in Tamil Cinema. These type of introduction to the story
can be available only in a Hollywood flick. The introduction scene is just seems
like one of the Hollywood movie dubbed in Tamil language.
This attempt stands out from the regular
cinema formula in India. This attempt is really commendable and appreciable.

| Johnny Tri Nguyen |
Surya’s underplayed his role and he
just acted merely like a director’s actor in spite of his value in the cine market.
The real performance value is gained by Shruthi
and the Vietnam actor Johnny. Shruthi character is well framed and helps to travel the story but moving with a slow pace.
Johnny’s character is the only promising character and meets the
expected value. Surya’ has no scope in this movie but he is tremendous in
making himself down to help in documenting the life history of Bodhidharman ’s
and contributing to the world. He is stunning in Bodhidharman’s cast.
Even the director says he has
done under enough research for this movie but many facts are literally in false
mood and results in a bad show off.
The worst part of the movie, may
be the pulse which drives the movie from the Good state to bad state is the
Music and the background score. Harris Jayaraj “A factory of Shit and crap
music” who has no diversity in copying all genre of music available in the
world. The background score is not at his best for a story like this.
- Taxi Taxi paatu (Oh Ringa Ringa),
- 12b whistle (Mun Andhi),
- Mudhal Mazhai + Kannum Kannum Nokia (Yellae Lama),
- Kanney Kalaimaane (Yamma Yamma),
- Baba Black Sheep Theme (chinese song). - [Info Courtesy from a friend]
7aam Arivu holds a good story and
excellent plot to excel but missed the awful chance to produce the entertaining
thriller movie. I came across many mixed type of reviews from the internet but
my choice would be this movie can be watchable only once in order to appreciate the
endeavor of the new beginning in Indian Cinema.
These type of movie don’t need a
song sequence and bullshitting love scenes & romantic songs. These market
value ingredients’ should be avoided in a film taken for a pride. The
international audiences can amazed with this movie for our traditional life as
we do so with their movies.
Trivia: 7aam Arivu is going to be
remade in Hindi with Aamir khan and Shruthihasan in a lead role. Sure, the
story gets a another chance to correct its mistake and achieve its pace in Hindi
version. Link here.
7aam Arivu, If you are tired
enough to search about who is Bodhidharman in Internet, please go to the 7aam
Arivu movie to know him. If you search in Google, the Google will list this movie along with Wikipedia
for a reference.

On the way to SriKalahasti - The Temple dedicated to Raagu-Kethu Parihara
Posted by
Arumugam S
at
10/20/2011 09:06:00 PM
The
main intention and motivation to write this post is not to be personal instead
to make awareness about the procedure for Raagu-kethu Pooja at SriKalahasti.
SriKalahasti
temple is located 36 km away from Tirupathi in Chittoor district of Andhra
Pradhesh, India. The inner temple is constructed around 5th century and the
outer temple was constructed in the 12th Century.
I’m
also the one as like you who had suffered with a damn prediction by the
astrologer and the sequence of bad action lead me to explore the new world consists
of signs and omens. Anyway I’m glad that I was exposed to feel the God
internally in much better manner.
It
is ideal and myth to halt in any divine place for at least one day to inhale
the atmosphere of self belief in the form of God. We started from Chennai
around 3:00 PM and travelled more than 3 hours to reach SriKalahasti. Once you
reached Kalahasthi, I’m damn sure you will be confused by the dozens of people
staring their own way of story and procedure to proceed. An auto rickshaw driver
will develop a big story whereas Teishu(The
person who prepares tea for business) will showcase an interesting thriller
story. By the way, we are impressed with the auto rickshaw kaarar and preceded
with him.
SriKalahasti is not only a historical devotional
place but also a place of lodges. Every auto rickshaw driver has connection with
some lodges. Be careful in selecting the lodge as per your budget. The rent is
varying from 200 to 1500 INR. We checked in to Rs.500 rent single cot room with
Television set. But we may get the same type of room even for 200 to 300 in
other lodges. Best suggestion is to check the rent price with other lodges and
try to negotiate with them.
The main cause to check in Sudha Residency is the
story we are informed with. The story begins as they will explain all the
procedures in sevas and poojas in temple and just replicate the verbatim of the
notice board. They may amaze you by
saying they will arrange a guide who is directly from the temple and will get
all the poojas material for Raagu-kethu
and will lead us to the mandapam without waiting and wasting time in the queue, and the best
part is these services is provided with free of cost. The family who is coming
for the first time may easily fall for this type of offer but the fact is these
can be achieved by own and it’s a normal procedure.
Next
day, early morning. The room boy will try to become dressers and will try to
sell the dhotis, He even say that dhotis is mandatory to be worned for poojas
otherwise you won’t be allowed. It’s completely false. Don’t waste money and
don’t believe his words.
Then
comes a guide to show the way to the temple, I mean only the way- one left and
one right, here the temple comes. He will bring it to the shop nearby the
entrance of the temple and will try to sell three lamps each costs Rs.40 and
flowers and some specific special flowers for Lord Siva. All together he will
produce a bill of Rs.200 and will say even these are supposed to brought for a Pooja.
Since we are going for a first time, not sure with the procedure and brought
it. The guide brought us to the nearby neem tree and showed us Lord Vinayaga,
Lord Raagu and Lord Kethu. We lighted the lamps there and moved towards to
queue. After 2 minutes, our lamps were wiped out from the place by the house
keeping peoples and came to know that these are not mandatory for Pooja.

The
guide shows the queue and his job was finished, asked for Rs.60 for his
valuable service. Thank god we didn’t have a change on that time. The Coupon for doing Raagu-Kethu Pooja costs around Rs.300.
The
Bag consists of
- The sculpted idol of Raagu and Kethu made up by Silver. Five headed Snake represents Raagu and single headed snake represents Kethu.
- Two cloths, one is in red color and another in black color.
- Two cereals bag, one is in red colored cereals and another black colored cereals.
- Two lemons.
- Three fresh coconuts.
- A bag of kunkumam and Turmeric powder.
All
the above was consolidated into one big bag and selling for Rs.300. One bag can
be shared by husband and wife, and for others, individual coupon is must.

Adjacent
to the counter, there comes the business magnets’ sitting in an order, trying to
sell the flowers even blackmailing. Even if you say we brought enough flowers
from outside, they would blackmail you that you will be sent back from the
pooja to bring these flowers. Here we felt fear and just moved up with the
procedure. Anyway this is our first time experience and there is no harm in
learning. Each cost Rs. 40 and at the round we spent Rs.120 here. Then we
entered into the mandapam allocated for this Pooja.
They
will start the Pooja only if the mandapam gets filled up. At last, there comes
the instructor to spell the divine word on behalf of us and starts the Pooja.
Here
one man will appear all of the sudden and help us in arranging our elements in
front of us. Be carefull he is not doing this for social service. He will ask
for money for this.
Here
goes the instruction how should we get prepared for this Pooja.
- Take the black and red cloth from the bag and fold it into four layers.
- Place the black cloth towards the God’s side. You will be sitting in a two lane way and respectively place the black cloth.
- Cereals should be unpacked and spread the black and red cereals in black and red cloth respectively.
- Place the Raagu and Kethu statue in Black and Red cloth respectively
- Five headed Snake = Raagu in Black cloth
- Single headed Snake = Kethu in Red Cloth
- Separate the lotus and other flowers in to pieces in order to place each one during each mantra.
- Then get the bag of kunkumam and Turmeric powder and mix it together.
- Then get the coconut broken and place it in a way it facing towards the idols.
- The instructor will ask for Rs.31 (Minimum) or above (our wish) to place it in the middle of Raagu-Kethu. Then they will come and collect it.
- Then follow the instruction of the instructor, it’s so simple.
At
last you will complete the Pooja and ask us to collect the two idols. These
idols should be put into Hundiyal after the screening of Lord Shiva.
The
best part of SriKalahasti is Lord Shiva is made up of Sarvam in Sanskrit and Tamil
(Snakes). Hence it’s a traditional place for worshiping the stars in the
universe.
I
thought this post will be helpful for the person who is going for the first
time to SriKalahasti and keeps them handy in performing the Pooja which leads
to avoid unnecessary costs.
Hope
you got a clear view of the procedure and enjoy your trip to SriKalahasti.
Lord
Shiva blesses us all!!!
